在可伸缩可靠多描通信中存在反馈信息爆炸、局部恢复数据困难等问题，为了解决反馈信息爆炸的问题，本文针对基于接收者启动、使用集成fec的系统，详细讨论了如何使用定时器避免nack爆炸，提出了设置定时器时间的两种方法：基于指数分布、均匀分段方法和基于指数分布、非均匀分段方法，并且分析了它们抑制nack的能力和由定时器引起的nack延时长短，通过分析可知：对接收者数量达到10 ~ ( 10 )数量级的多播通信，这两种方法都能避免反馈信息爆炸，且由定时器引起的nack延时短，并且后一种方法优于前一种方法。
